To verify your apps are the current versions, you will need to launch each app individually and check the apps “About” section.

Please ensure you read the Link Alert in its entirety before updating your Link.

(CAL) Crew Rest Breaks - Flights Less than 8 Hours

Flight Attendants who are currently working under the scheduling provisions of the pre-merger CAL Contract, should be aware that crew rest breaks on flights over 7 hours, but under 8 hours are NOT part of the current Contract provisions under which we are working. This provision has not yet been implemented and is still under development by the Joint Implementation Team (JIT.)

Section 3.U. of the pre-merger CAL scheduling section provides information on crew rest break provisions.

For additional information, see your Local Council.

(UAL) Pre-Merger United Flight Attendant NGP Enrollment Error

Over the past several weeks our AFA United MEC Benefits Committee has become aware that a number of pre-merger United Flight Attendants submitted applications with National Group Protection (NGP) for supplemental benefits. This week a communication was sent to approximately 250 pre-merger United Flight Attendants who submitted applications during the 4th quarter of 2016 for coverage to which they were not eligible. These Flight Attendants will not be enrolled in these policies. Our AFA communication provides these Members with a brief explanation on the problem and instructions on how to submit applications for the current supplemental benefits available to pre-merger United Flight Attendants.

For more information or to view the letter sent, please visit our website.
